Growing up in Oregon, Virginia’s passion for architecture started in the 5th grade after her math class was assigned the project to design a house with a budget in mind. The activity left such an imprint that she decided then and there to practice architecture and has followed this dream throughout her life. Her favorite thing about architecture is the influence of form and function on our everyday lives. She loves how the profession allows her to shape the world around her by changing the topography of the planet every time a building goes up. Virginia is Waterleaf's BIM Manager and a member of the ZERO Ready Oregon.
