Ellen is an architect with a reverence for the past and vision for the future. Approaching the design process like a tailor, she knows that a successful building must be made to fit the unique shape and needs of the client with quality materials and expert construction. The relationship a building has with its local community and its impact on the environment is something she considers with every project. It is with this in mind that Ellen helps lead the efforts of our Greening Group and B-Corp Advisory Board to continuously raise the bar on our firm’s standards of social and environmental performance. She also champions the design team for our art installations at the annual Portland Winter Light Festival.
