Originally constructed in 1929 and designed in an Italian Renaissance style, Inlow Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Waterleaf was retained to complete the Seismic Upgrade and adaptive reuse project previously completed in 2009. Phase II implements the previously masterplanned seismic design and provides a complete renovation to the 2nd floor and roof structures. Envelope improvements included complete window replacement, facade repair and roof replacement. Renovation of the second floor accommodated a new board room, Office of the President of the University and Administrative Offices. Design involved an agreement with the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), subsurface archaeology for utilities and approval with the City of La Grande Landmark’s commission. Waterleaf is the Architect for this project.
