Weatherford Hall is OSU's signature historic resource on campus. Constructed in 1928 and originally designed by Bennes and Herzog, the building is 5-story masonry with a brick facade and mission style clay tile roof in the Renaissance and Mediterranean Revival style. Weatherford Hall is a contributing structure, listed in the National Register as part of the Oregon State University Historic District. Waterleaf Architecture provided Architectural design for the historic repair, restoration and replacement of the roof. Repairs and restoration will occur over three summers, allowing for complete use of the building during the academic year. Restoration includes the tile roofs, ornamental balustrades, Juliet balconies and plaza decks.
