Penner Ash Wine Cellars' 10,000-case winery is located on a sloping site in Oregon's North Willamette Valley, allowing for a multi-level gravity-production winery design that integrates sustainablity and reflects the nature of the Pacific Northwest in its architecture. Waterleaf provided architectural design integrating a tasting room, administration, and lab space around the barrel room and fermentation areas, allowing both winemaker and visitor to see and understand the wine-making process from several vantage points.
