Waterleaf worked with TriMet on the final design of the seven-mile Portland-to-Milwaukie light rail transit MAX Orange Line that included Bybee Station in the Westmoreland neighborhood of SE Portland. The station respects the historic character of the bridge and surrounding neighborhood and provides an important east-west link between neighborhoods, Reed College and nearby recreational amenities. Surrounded by Westmoreland Park, Eastmoreland Golf Course, Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, the Willamette River, Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge and the Springwater Corridor Trail, this station serves as an urban gateway to nature and recreation.
