Through a study funded by the Portland Development Commission (now Prosper Portland), Waterleaf designed the facade rehabilitation for this 1912 historic building in downtown Portland that houses ground floor retail space with apartments above. Design schemes worked to strip away material that had been added over time and restore the facade to the original design intent. Subsequent improvements included new storefront, canopies, signage, and lighting to enliven the pedestrian environment.
