Kayla brings a variety of experience, including affordable and market-rate housing, shelters, commercial buildings, and early learning centers. She believes that no matter the size, budget, or type of project, clients and users deserve well-designed and equitable spaces. Her interest and training in Trauma-informed design principles mean that Kayla cares deeply about how people inhabit a space and how architecture can influence our everyday lives. She is an advocate for going above and beyond code-minimums and strives to work within budget to seek out affordable ways to accomplish a desired design element.
